If you want to transition into vegan-ism and or a gluten free diet here are some steps:
1. People are vastly undereducated about food. There is so much out there that is vegan that you probably haven't heard of. When deciding to try a vegan diet you must have good resources. In the resource tap at the top I have links to websites and recommended books. Plan your meals so you don't get stuck at home with nothing vegan or gluten free to eat and go to bed hungry. Get some good vegan snack food to have handy in your purse or car.
As far as gluten free. This is new for me so more to come on that subject.
2. The second thing you must do is find good support. Because everyone and their mother is going to in no uncertain terms tell you exactly how foolish it is. blah blah blah. So find some who is going to be there for you and understanding.
3. Have faith in yourself. Get excited about the changes in your life and stay positive.
4. Set back are not the end of the world.
5. Take the time to get to know yourself. Fulling understanding your needs will make this a ton easier. For example some people slowly transition from no red meat or pork to no chicken and finally no diary or gluten. And that works great for them for me I had to go cold turkey (no pun intended) or I probably would not have followed through with it.
